As I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I fear no being, for I am everything that represents the good, and the light of this world. I am the color White, and you will feel my holy wrath!
With creatures like Angels, Clerics, and Monks, and abilities like exile, protections from, and life gain White is the holier than thou colour of Magic; kinda the Inquisition, if you will. Whether by itself or combined with another colour, White is a force to be reckoned with. Removal, known as “exile,†is one of the most used abilities in White’s sick arsenal. Mass creature and board removal is another. Wrath of God, Akromas Vengeance, Kirtars Wrath, the new Day of Judgment, and my personal favorite Austere Command, are staple cards of many White mages. But there are a few catches.
Getting a consistent mono White deck takes a lot of thinking and work.  Due to lack of draw and land fetch, you really have to be weary of the mana cost of your deck. Adding in mana fetch and draw capable artifacts will be your best bet. However, as I stated in my last article you want to be selfish with your drawing and fetch. In this article I am going to showcase my newest EDH build (yes, it’s Three Kingdoms, kinda turned in to a really obsession).
For those of you who are history buffs or gamers, you should recognize the names that I have used as Commanders. Romanticized by the Dynasty Warrior franchise, the story of the Three Kingdoms are in fact real.  The Three Kingdoms are: Wu with Lord Sun Quan, Shu with Lord Liu Bei, and Wei with Cao Cao as the Lord. I have used Wu (Ancient Chinese Secrets) and Shu (this deck).
The Shu Kingdom is lead by Liu Bei, supported by his two “brothersâ€: Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. This is why I have chosen Liu Bei, Lord of Shu to head my mono White army. He also has a super cool ability, getting a bonus +2/+2 if either of his brothers are out on the field. Plus, he has horsemanship. This uber cool ability is especially effective in Aggro-specific decks. Whoever thought of this mechanic is a god among men. And in this article I plan to show you just how to capitalize on using it to the fullest. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you…
