		<description><![CDATA[Honestly I&#039;ve wondered the same thing myself. However I think the reason behind it is in large part due to the great folks @ PDCmagic. They if not came up with the format, they certainly did everything they could to push it as a competitive format by having their own tournaments on an almost daily basis (most out of pocket if prizes were available)  during the days of MTGO v2. 

I guess what I&#039;m saying is that could well be the wider and or more fun format but it was pauper that had its own community online and thus easier to get established.]]></description>
