I don't think there are quite enough artifacts that you'd want to play in BUG to make Tezz work well enough. After Baleful Strix and Shardless Agent, you'd be reaching. It would probably just be a worse version of either the BUG deck or the straight UB Tezz deck.

Agree about the old-art/old-frame Underworld Dreams, I would like that too. I hope the Vintage Masters uses old frames for all the non-P9 stuff (since it appears P9 is going to be new-frame for whatever reasons.)

Underworld Dreams is pretty spicy tech. I just wish there was an MED version with the OG art/frame. Engineered Plague seems like it's the best option for Elves/Goblins. It also hits True Name Nemesis in RUG and Stoneblade decks, though it does little against actual Merfolk decks.Thinking outside the box, maybe something like Electrickery??

Also, wonder if there is a Shardless BUG deck taht could convert to adapt Tezz, AoB? Just a random thought I had, which is probably completely terrible, but maybe you think it could be viable?

Bahra --

My deck has 12 fetchlands, so yeah those basics do play around Wasteland pretty well, I have no idea why you think they don't.

I didn't see the room in my own mana-base to add a full set of Wastelands, but I believe I discussed in the deck tech video that I was considering adding a couple to handle opposing utility lands. There are a lot of matchups where Wasteland is totally dead or nearly dead: Show & Tell, High Tide, Death and Taxes, Vial decks such as Merfolk or Goblins, Dredge, and UW Miracles, to name a few. They are obviously quite good against people running no basics, like Punishing RUG and some of the BUG variants, but I think this deck is fine against BUG. Punishing RUG is a match I would have liked to have tried out.

Your mana base also looks like you just cut Grove of the Burnwillows out of a Punishing Jund deck and added basics instead. And why exactly are you not running Punishing Fire if you want to beat Elves? Also, UB Tezzeret is NOT a tier 1 deck or a tier 1.5 deck. It's tier 3 at best, it's a rogue deck that doesn't actually do anything and loses to any and all combo decks (that's why they're playing the embarrassing main deck chalice of the void).
