I agree with the user "a" --getting armageddon (ravages of war) when it came so late was a big signal. You already had a white weenie strategy on the way (Lynx, Lingering Souls, Skullclamp?, etc. )
If the signals are coming, listen to them!

Spoiler: It was a stinker.

In my mind, this deck wanted to play big, bomby spells in between doing little (besides living until able to do so). When I have a better connection, I will look at the W/x aggro picks passed up. Sometimes it's hard to get out of tunnel vision when you really want something to be a certain way.

RE: Bloodghast. I hate Bloodghast in a defensive deck.

Thanks for the constructive comments. :]

If this is the MTGO Academy, you are most certainly a freshman. I stopped watching when you picked Bolas, and was cringing long before that. You contradict yourself multiple times in the draft, once in back to back picks. Learn to cube well before polluting the internet with your filth again.

never cut skullclamp from this deck.

nicol bolas was errant to say the least... but if you're trying to have fun its fair.

lingering souls + sorin should not be used to set up sorin ultimate... it should be used to beat the opponent to death with X/1 fliers. You threw away a ton of value keeping sorin around for no real reason when you could have just raced him with souls + emblems r1g1

Sorin, Hero, Lingering Souls... Seems like plenty of skullclamp fodder for negligible cost. Also you can just put it on valuable creautures (like Hero) so that you gt return on investment when they die... or they don't die and you win.
