M2G2 watching the win sit board with the Boris charm made me cringe.

M2G3 when he attacks with the 2/2 Mage into your 2/2, he obviously has some trick. Given you know he has the 4/2 flash guy and he has 6 mama untapped, I think you have to triple block with the 2/2 and birds, especially since you didn't see any pump spells. If he had giant growth running around, you prob shouldn't block at all as no one is bluffing in that spot. Maybe you forgot about the 4/2 because he is so awful? I actually remembered it because it was so awful which was why I was yelling "noooooo" when you only double blocked.

I think that Marshall drafted it well. Axebane Guardian would be basicaly a third cluestone and I would rare draft Steam Vents over guildgate all day (plus it allowed fusing Give/Take :)). The only mistake was that Grull War Chant but mainly due to signalling. That card would not be that good as a spash anyway.

Nice draft, nice deck!

M2G2 there was a turn where the opponent was tapped out, on 12 life, and allowed your 6/6 to attack unblocked - and you had boros charm up. You could have given your guy double strike for a lethal attack of 12.

M2G3, there was the turn where he attacked with the runewing and the currently 2/2 fathom mage, and you played eyes in the sky - and then blocked with the two birds on fathom mage, only to later be blown out by the 4/2 flash.
In general, when playing around pump spells and such to remove key attackers, it can be for the best to just block with multiple creatures (moreover so when you have boros charm up) - I believe the correct block would have been to pile both birds token AND the denizen on the fathom mage, meaning opponent would have had to find a pump spell that's better than a +2/+2 just to have the fathom mage survive, and even in such a case you'll just trade his pump spell for your boros charm, which is favourable given the advantage you can get by getting rid of fathom mage.

Always look forward to these videos and will definitely continue to watch and enjoy, but this has to be the draft I've very strongly disagreed on a good number of your picks. The biggest being taking Zhur-Taa Druid and then almost just ignoring War Chant and rare drafting Steam Vents over Selesnya Guildgate. Just seems loose to me.

Great games Marshall as always. Although, I winced win you grabbed the Steam Vents over the Guildgate, but that sort of thing happens.

i agree with frizzel in that the third guy MUST have had something that he just couldn't play... otherwise i would find it rather hard to see how he got to round three on a crackling perimiter experiment
