Besides all the s*** your hearing from everybody, I thoroughly enjoyed your videos as always. The way you voice your thinking is great, as opposed to other people that video their drafts. You had some loose play but overall you did great. Till next time ;)

Contrary to the write up of this article, Flayer isn't a splash-able creature, imo. He is the lord of an archetype. You passed on all of the cards that go in the archetype for less then mediocre cards. Then you mention how you didn't get anything for him in Pack 2. A Nearheath stalker is a bomb with Flayer on the board. The young wolf becomes a better card when it has late game value with flayer.

On top of that you go red rare, green man producer... lingering souls? If you would have just went red/green drafting the deck you should have, splashing white the deck feels a lot tighter and your creature quality is a good bit better.

They hired Ryan Spain, and now Marshall disappears into the buisness.
Been said before, but again: Grats to you both !

And grats to WotC who manages to hire good people !

A big chunk of awesomeness disappeared from LR with Ryan Spains disappearance, (thoug Louks is good as well, but not that good =)).. And draft-vids have sunk from super-good under Ryan Spain to mediocreness last months. Im just sayin =)

Was gonna go somewhere abit negative with this post, but nah... =)=)=).

Spain at the keyboards and Marshall at the mike and tournament scene - might be very good, time will tell.

@tov - I looked back, and it was just because he got to kill my best guy and then copy whatever he wanted after blocking while killing whatever I had left.

@Elliott - I'm not sure if I considered that or not, I'll have to look. I probably didn't though. I'll look at the other spot you mentioned as well. Thanks!

@Will - Ya it seems silly to say, but it's somehow true. Man that card is good.

@Daniel - Thank you sir, appreciate it! Should be interesting to say the least :)

@dseo - It's not too difficult: First you build your deck, then you save it as a deck (click Save As at the top). Name it whatever you want. Then go into the deck editor, and load that deck. Swap out the lands for whatever you want, then save it. Go back into the draft deck builder, click Load and load the deck you saved. The lands will be there :) (These are the lands I use in real life drafts as well, so it's kind of cool to be able to make it consistent on MTGO as well)

@Steve - I like being in UR but felt that my picks were pretty justifiable in the moment I saw them.

@oray - Probably so.

@Ged - Ya I found the draft portion on this one very fascinating. Did you guys? I mean there were all types of things going on in this draft, it was not an easy one to navigate imo.

@oma - Thanks man. Yes I made some pretty loose plays this draft, I can't hide that. (I also made some pretty sweet ones). Thanks re: the PT coverage thing too! I'm excited for sure, it's all come on a bit fast but I'll adapt. Barcelona should be good fun.

@Asmodan - I'll look. Sounds correct though.

@Alex - I don't have disrespect for sideboard cards but I don't value them super highly either. It takes a lot to get me to board into narrow SB cards anyway, so I often don't value them that highly in the draft portion. I'll consider it next time.

@Zach - LOL nice. Thanks for pointing out this MAJOR MISPLAY and how I punted so horribly! Won't let it happen again, I promise! :P

@punt - The authority has spoken.

@Roman - Interesting. I think the Bear may have been the better play, but I confess I didn't see the Harvest Pyre Pyre play at the time. Nice catch!

@Chris - The ones with Undying do. It does bump their value a little, but really not that much. The main reason being that you need the flayer on the board in order to get that value. I don't want to skew my draft for a card that I can splash for fine value usually. I don't like building around one card in draft as much as many others do, but I will use it as a tiebreaker.

I saw a cool play R1G2 that probably would have won you the game, and I saw it because it was similar to something you mentioned on the latest podcast, when you were talking about non-intuitive plays and chaining spells..
There was a moment, when you had the option to Harvest Pyre his 1/1 Unruly Mob with a +1/+1 trigger on the stack, and you chose to play the Uvenwald Bears instead. The play I was thinking of was to Harvest Pyre the Mob, removing the werewolf, then Harvest Pyre his Cathar, removing the first Harvest Pyre. Harvest Pyre Pyre.
You still would have the spirits and the dryad to worry about, so maybe the Bears are a better play.
