Another enjoyable vid, thanks bud!

After R2G1, you first say Heretic's Punishment is really bad against your deck because of being clunky against pressure. Then you observe what HP does in a long game and decide it is actually something to be extremely afraid of, boarding in a narrow answer card that is at odds with both the reason you felt your deck was good against HP, and with your own Bonds of Faith. I put more weight on your initial assessment that HP is quite bad against your typical start; without seeing another good target or two, I don't like boarding in Paraselene there, especially on the play.

In R2G2 you have D. Ghoul, Walking Corpse, 2 Swamp, and 1 Plains in play, with Bloodline Keeper, Ghoulcaller's Chant, Silver-Inlaid Dagger, and Paraselene (BLANK!) in hand. Villain has Ashmouth Hound down. You attack in, trade a zombie off, then chant it back and recast. My instinct there was to attack, take the trade, then cast and equip the dagger. You have a 4/2 vs. an empty board, and are one land away from casting Bloodline Keeper with chant backup.

I don't think you can lose that game very often if you cast bloodline keeper twice, so just work towards that. You gave up big long game for a slight boost to early pressure (two 2/2s with dagger in hand instead of one 4/2), and that can't be correct when you have as powerful a long game as a re-buyable keeper.

@Stuie: I'm guessing you are childless--you don't seem to know what whining truly sounds like. :)

@Stuie: Dude, you're a moron. :)

On that note, why do people think that they are allowed to say something stupid a douchey, as long as they put a smiley at the end?

Anyway, great job as always Marshall.

Any chance you could tone down the defeatist attitude the minute something doesn't go your way? Honestly I can't even listen to games where you start to fall behind because you become so negative and whiny it grates on my nerves. :)

In the game against Heretic's Punishment, I think I would have put Bonds of Faith on the Priest to make it 4 toughness. You're up against it anyway, and this gives you the out of you racing him and reduces the chance of him killing the Priest with Heretic's Punishmet.

Nice video!
