Hello

Just an observation, Greater Basilisk when blocked with overrun only needs to deal 1 damage to a creature, you can deal the remaining damage to the player because of deathtouch. Nice draft!

@ Brian - Ya it's always tough when the new set is out IRL yet not on MTGO. I do think you can learn a lot from core set draft, but it does get perhaps a bit dry :) Kenji will be back for sure as well.

@ Cody B We could have played Divine Favor on *his* Pacified Ogre to get another turn at a plains? I might be missing something but I'm not sure how that gets us another turn?

@ Zach Mr. Bouncy-Pants indeed :) I will someday get all the info and such together for another Retro-draft, and I agree that having guests is awesome. I will be doing this frequently :)

@ Mdal Hahah we did too. I mean I don't want it to come off as rub-ins or whatever for our opponent or anything. But yes it was really funny for us at the time too :)

@ MonKei Sometimes you gotta go with the solid girlfriend instead of the flashy Angel :(

@ EElemental - Appreciate you saying so EE :) On some sites and with some drafters, people on chime in when they have some complaint or trollish thing to say. Not here though, you guys are awesome. :D

@ BT Saying Serra Angel is *always* better than Pacifism is a really poor way to start this discussion. I disagree wholeheartedly with your statements about threats always being better than answers as well. Every deck needs some level of both, and ours wanted Pacifism more at the time than the Angel. It was a very close pick of course, and the Angel would have served us well I presume, but we needed that removal and I think it was correct.

I agree that we should take Fog there instead of the Chuckers.

@ dasMetzger Great to hear sir, and honored to be mentioned anywhere near "end of work week bliss" :) Auch, vielen dank fuer anschauen :D

@ Vis We really ran very well for the draft to be honest. I think your points about usign Titanic Growth on the Lawkeeper were totally valid, it was a risk for sure.

@nolander Ya that pick was brutally close. I think we were correct, but it would have been ok to go either way I think. Serra acts as a form of removal herself in a lot of board states. Thanks for the love too! :D

@marc @dasMetzger Like metzger said, I like being able to follow-up bash a bit better with the Veteren.

@darksky602 Thanks, and will do! Kenji and his called topdecks.. Not sure how he does it!

@anonymous Here to serve you sir :) Get some M12 in before Innistrad comes out!

@acidbather Thanks for the comments, appreciated :) Yes we were just being thorough but I was defnitely aware of the web shutting off the Mages ability. I'm sure Kenji was as well :)

@nathones I do too, he will be back I promise :D

Great video as always. I probably take angel over pacifism in most cases but I actually support your line of reasoning. It's hard ti win games without removal.

In match 3 when you had arachnus web and basilisk un hand while he had onyx Mage and ogre up you were thinking for a bit on which one to web. You had been holding basilisk bc he could kill it with first strike and death touch via Mage. From listening to your conversation it sounded like you were only evaluating webbing Mage or ogre based purely on combat relevance (attacking and blocking). While that is an important aspect of web, did you realize that it shuts off activated abilities as well?

Obviously it all worked out but you could have webbed his mage and ate his ogre. I know you considered webbing mage but it sounded like you were just wanting to keep one from attacking.

Keep up the great work!
