Also, staring at the Quirion Dryad in your sideboard for several hours was less than fun :)

She's just another card that can win you the game with not too much downside. At worst it draws out the bounce spells.

I have to agree on most people opinions about GWr. I actually paused the video before you even began talking, looked over the cards to see if my build would be similar to yours without any outside influence. I saw the invocations, but nothing else to pull me into blue. Switcheroo I find to be highly overrated by most people. I think a very good way to think about that card is a slightly worse / better Threaten depending on the situation.

I think you could have won the second game in the last match if you were more aggressive with the Griffin because you ended up chumping Odric anyways with drakes. You didn't give yourself an opportunity to win by not attacking if you were to lose anyway. I believe your one missed swing with the Griffin for 4 was the difference in that game. I know you didn't know that you were not going to draw another Invocation but I think that was the perfect draw to get you back in. Of course hindsight is 20/20...

Hey. cool vids! thank you for putting these out so fast :)

However, I find myself strongly agreeing with some posters above me, especially mikerpiker. You completly overlooked white, and it seems you were just set on playing blue the moment you saw a couple of invocations staring at you. That's fine - a prerealease is more about playing what's fun than about winning - but from a strategic point of view your white cards were more powerful than the blue cards. You should have at least considerd white seriously. Green, however, was a good choice.

I also strongly agree with David about the beast tracker. he tutors up either acidic slime, or a spiked baloth or any of your spiders, making it a very strong since between all these choices you can always get something relevent to either answear a threat from the opponent or press your advantage.

Ring+Deadly Recluse... You seriously undervalued that combination of cards the entire event. Every game you had the 2 in play with another creature they weren't together. Recluse is the best creature in your deck aside from Slime for that card to be attached to. It makes for the most powerful threat with the ability to 1 any blocker and deal the rest to the player. It almost makes it unblockable.
Also, Match 3 Game 2 you left your Baloth back. Sure he could have just double blocked with 2 tokens but you didn't even consider that he would just blocked with the first striker that you planned to spear anyway. And you speared the guy after given him another card and mana to work with to come up with an out for the spear. I understand leaving up options by waiting as long as possible but I think we both know regardless the latest you should've played that spear was on his upkeep if you wanted to give him the option to save it at the cost of using mana for his turn.
