I guess I just value WSZ higher than you do. For me, I usually cast it for anywhere between 6 and 10, which means that I'm getting 6 to 14 power on the board at instant speed. It often puts the game away, but when it doesn't, it will occasionally show back up to win the game later. For me, I would pick it above any of the commons, though just barely above BTI.

Thanks again for awesome content!

I do have one pet suggestion, and since third time's the charm:

Give Grafted Exoskeleton a try one time!
During drafting you mention it is unplayable. And i certainly disagree.

I am not saying that it would fit right into this deck, as the deck is already pretty good and you have 4 pump spells.

If your deck was just a little different, though, it could actually be pretty good.

I know from the show that you hate strike-out-homerun-cards, but sometimes you just need those homeruns!
For further discussion, see my previews two posts on Grafted Exoskeletons to earlier vids/shows and an email I wrote.

I am not saying it is awesome, but it is far from unplayable.

On a side note, Myosynth Fiend is quite good. Especially when you have the early infect rush, you can easily get them to 5+/5+. Sure, it doesn't deal infect (unless you also have the much maligned Exoskeleton). But what are they gonna do? Not block? Eventually they have to.

@ACP - I reviewed the play, and I feel like I would have made the same one. So you are saying we should have just killed our own Digester and attacked with the Myr and the Fallen? He blocks the fallen with his husk of a Tangle Angler, or with his Germ, but either way we get in for less poison and have only the Plague Myr left over. I can't figure how this would give us a better chance of winning. I haven't looked back at the WSZ pick, but I will. I don't think that card is particularly amazing, and it's typically very difficult to cast, so I value it lower than some possibly as well.

@Marc - Thanks dude. I agree, Woodrow did a great job and I'll have him back on. The weird thing is that he is normally a really funny dude, but was in business mode for his first video I guess.

@oraymw - I agree with what you said about the MBS pack and I tend to now prep for those packs with my picks in NPH. I don't value WSZ super highly, but I'll take a look when I go back over the video.

@Starwarer - Sorry I didn't realize that was the case, looks like PlanetWalls fixed it. Either way, appreciate you putting it in the comments :)

@Planet Walls - Thanks :)

@MoveUp - I think of it more as Orangutan math myself. :) Woodrow is a good player in his own right, which is why he was on the video with me.

@dragon7284 - I didn't even consider it. I think I was thinking with guys like Tangle Angler and a bunch of tricks, that hitting land drops would be crucial. I see your point for sure, and maybe just auto-piloted it a bit there.

@mark kelso - I don't agree. I think Glistening Oil is quite strong, and can take out/nullify mutliple guys over the course of a game. Tezzeret's Gambit is a card I like to have in my pile, but not over removal. Forced Worship is just awful, I consider it essentially unplayable. It's *way* worse than Glistening Oil, and they aren't really comparable.

@asdf - Sorry about the sound difference, it doesn't really come through when I watch it. I will try to get them closer though in the future if this is a real issue. Also, I completely feel you about having Woodrow blaring in your ear ;P

Thanks for watching and commenting guys, appreciate the feedback.

The bringing a buddy idea itself is ok, but Woodrow's mic was WAY too loud compared to yours. I had to turn it down to make his a reasonable sound, and then I could hardly hear your comments... ... only other choice was having woodrow blaring in my ear.

glistening oil over tezz gambit or legionaire was ugly and to be honest i fast forwareded the draft after that.

Card has incremental value similar to a card like forced worship, not like a pinger (which some people compare it to). It's about a 6th pick.

Why not consider going 24 spells 16 lands? You have 2 myrs plus the spellbomb and talisman and like you said your curve really tops out at 4 which should almost never be a problem
