Would it have been worth bringing in thought hemorrhage for the branching bolts?
Ive never played shards draft so i dunno if the 4 casting cost is too prohibitive or not.

M2G2 – Having seen that he had two Branching Bolts already, I’d have played around it.

You had Kathari Bomber against his Sanctum Gargoyle and Jund Hackblade. I would Dark Temper the Gargoyle, then swing in with the Bomber. You end up with 2 goblins which can trade with the Hackblade and he takes a little damage. Then don’t unearth the Bombers until he’s tapped out. He shouldn’t get a chance to 2 for 1 you.

Your way played into Bolt too much and missed a couple of points of damage. You may have wanted to keep the Dark Temper for something bigger, but you had Battlemage and Bituminous Blast in hand.

Did you see a different line that didn’t pan out or did you just not see this one?
