You conceded even though a plains or a mountain were outs. If you drew a plains, (which was your next draw step) you could have played ajani, and gave a skyjek doublestrike to deal 9 in the air, saccing your groundpounder. Admittedly, he would have an untap, and plenty of cards, but he could have bricked.
