Blood does seem good but it targets the other creature, even though it doesn’t deal the damage, so it still can’t target Master of Waves.

I personally am a big fan of arbor collosus over the dragon. But i suppose its not what the aggro gruul deck wants. Aside from that why not play flesh//blood over time to feed in the sideboard? it costs less and will also get master of waves since the creature is the damage source.
