Hey Alex, your deck was pretty sweet and I'm glad I came across it and got to try it out. Some of the things in Journey into Nyx that I was thinking might work for the deck were Athreos, God of Passage and Dictate of Erebos. Atheros seems sweet and makes the deck even grindier and better vs control. Dictate seems perfect as a sideboard card for the midrange decks like Jund Monsters and Mono Black. Being able to Edict them a bunch while maintaining a board presence may be what the deck needs to not get overwhelm by more powerful cards. And unless you wanted to go with more of an Enchantment theme, there isn't much else besides obvious all around good cards like Banishing Light and Silence the believers. I could see trying out Pharika, God of Affliction but I don't know if she would be better than Varolz or Savaging Ooze, seeing as they fill similar roles in the deck.

So yea turns out I was the guy you got the deck off of, goldfire07. You basically came to the same conclusion I did in testing with the deck. It's very good at grinding out long games but feels a bit underpowered compared to other decks. Do you have an suggestions on how to update it post Journey?
