Thanks for all the well wishes! :)

I was going to do a video on the RG deck and what changes I made to it now, but then I realized I could do a celebratory cube video instead! So, I don't mind talking about the GP and RG deck a bit here.

I played RG because I thought it would be an easy deck to pilot for the 14+ rounds and still be a powerful choice. That turned out to be a really good decision. Here's the list I played with a few of the sideboard plans:

4 Copperline Gorge
10 Forest
2 Kessig Wolf Run
3 Mountain
4 Rootbound Crag

1 Acidic Slime
1 Avacyn's Pilgrim
4 Birds of Paradise
1 Daybreak Ranger
4 Huntmaster of the Fells
4 Llanowar Elves
3 Phyrexian Metamorph
4 Strangleroot Geist
1 Thrun, the Last Troll

3 Brimstone Volley
2 Galvanic Blast
4 Green Sun's Zenith
4 Sword of War and Peace
1 Garruk Relentless

Sideboard
1 Acidic Slime
2 Act of Aggression
2 Ancient Grudge
2 Arc Trail
1 Batterskull
1 Garruk, Primal Hunter
1 Increasing Savagery
2 Manabarbs
1 Primeval Titan
2 Sword of Feast and Famine

For Delver:
-1 Acidic Slime, -1 Garruk Relentless, -X Green Sun's Zenith, -Y Brimstone Volley (if they don't have Dungeon Geist)
+ as many Arc Trail and Ancient Grudge as you can fit

For Ramp:
-1 Daybreak Ranger, -3 Galvanic Blast, -4 Sword of War and Peace, -2 Brimstone Volley
+1 Acidic Slime, +2 Act of Aggression, +2 Ancient Grudge, +1 Garruk, Primal Hunter, +1 Increasing Savagery, +2 Manabarbs, +1 Primeval Titan

This plan forgoes artifacts because they will almost always have Ancient Grudge. But Swords in general aren't that bad against them (same idea for mirror).

For Zombies:
-2 Phyrexian Metamorph, -4 Sword of War and Peace
+2 Arc Trail, +1 Batterskull, +1 Garruk, Primal Hunter, +2 Sword of Feast and Famine

You're the control deck. Your goal is generally to cast as many Huntmasters as you can but still maintain a plan to beat Phyrexian Obliterator.

Despite a lot of Delver players saying that RG is their worst matchup, my only losses were to Delver so I've made a few changes to try to make the matchup a bit better:

4 Copperline Gorge
4 Rootbound Crag
3 Mountain
2 Kessig Wolf Run
10 Forest

1 Avacyn's Pilgrim
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Strangleroot Geist
2 Daybreak Ranger
3 Phyrexian Metamorph
4 Huntmaster of the Fells
1 Acidic Slime

3 Galvanic Blast
2 Brimstone Volley
4 Sword of War and Peace
4 Green Sun's Zenith
1 Garruk Relentless

Sideboard
1 Acidic Slime
1 Act of Aggression
2 Ancient Grudge
2 Arc Trail
1 Batterskull
1 Garruk, Primal Hunter
2 Increasing Savagery
2 Manabarbs
1 Primeval Titan
1 Stingerfling Spider
1 Sword of Feast and Famine

Grats to the great Top8 Finish!
So why did you choose to play the 2nd best deck for the GP? What happened with the Esper Titan deck? Can you explain some card choices for the R/G Deck you played at the GP? So with all the MWCQ coming up you think R/G is the way to go? As for Birthing Pod, i tested it the last weeks a lot in all version and its more and love or hate deck.Either it goes nuts or other way you ytuck on lands or the wrong colours etc. Like you said very inconsistent, nothing for me :-)
