In M1G3 on that turn you are really tanking with 3 lands and 3 manamen in plan, what do you think of the line of casting Strangleroot, podding that into Exarch, and podding that into Thrun, paying life both times so you can leave up regen mana. Plays around DoJ but not Terminus, but it seems like you don’t have a lot of options regarding Terminus anyway.

I’ve been playing a lot online with various G/Rx pod builds and I haven’t found a good strategy to combat the Solar Flare decks, seems like I just loose to a few DOJ, or an image to stall and a resolved Sun Titan.

I know this is maybe more i want say but, why the hell you dont play predator ozoe? x1 and change addept or magic, too make it more undiying,like pyre heart and storm geist, change mage and ranger.

Tell me if it rules with that, Ozoe predator is maybe now the best option vs control and bonefire.

Gogo MiCOOL! I read about your finish- good work, sir. I imagine that it was also pretty satisfying to play rug pod, despite some pitfalls. I enjoy your videos very much. I’ve noticed that your dry sense of humor doesn’t have as much of a presence as of late though.

My version is a little heavier on blue and less on red so casting Adept and Mist Raven are not as much of a headache, but my experience has definitely been that Adept at least is worth keeping in.

Thanks for all the constructive comments guys! I have a few responses to make to the lot of you:

First, sorry the sound was low! I have a new mic and it was set to reduce background noise and I guess it ended up being too low overall. I’ll change that for next week.

The deck is mentally taxing to play (especially for long periods of time), and it turns out that in the PTQ the day after the WMCQ, mistakes cost me both games in my 4th round. D:

AEther Adept hasn’t been overly impressive for me and it’s especially lackluster when drawn which makes me very hesitant to add a Mist Raven in addition.

I made a few modifications from my experience in the DE and revamped the sideboard completely. I’ll check back here to answer any more questions or comments you might have.
