In game two of the mono-red match, couldn’t you have also just played the redcap to kill the lavamancer while he was tapped out? I know this hurts the combo line of play, but you would have been relatively free to just bash his face in with the angel.

in the last game the “right” play would have been to get the Chord with Witness and use it for Kiki at the end of his turn/after blocks. If he counters the Chord it is unlikely that he has mana left for the Kiki in your hand. This would also play around double Leak if you draw a land.

small thing though is that you said in match 4 round 1 that you could not cast Kiki Jiki with your lands… but you had 5 lands, three of which (mountain, steam vents, grove) could produce red mana. what am I missing?
