Merfolk is pretty popular online. It is cheap to build and powerful.

Many of the Mono U lists I have seen don’t run Cryptic. I am not sure if this is a budget issue or it is just too clunky. I could honestly understand the latter. It costs 4 and can be detrimental to your mana unless you have a Vial in play, and face it you don’t always. I also think Cryptic is worse with Bob in the deck. The Mono U versions tend to run 4 Vial, 4 Pierce, 4 Leak, and 4 Vapor Snag as the spell suite.

Nice walkthrough. Play that crazy Ad Nauseam/Lightning Storm deck next. I think people would dig watching that pile.
