  1. In my humble opinion, I think you should have kept the Kitesail in and pulled out something else to help you get around that Stuffy Doll, especially since it worked to some degree during that second game. But then again, I have been having some rough times on MTGO recently, so I might just be blowing hot air. Fun to watch as always, though!

  2. In that last game, I would’ve probably geysered the nighthawk and gotten in there. Then you’d still have the prey upon for servant, and since stuffy doll triggers after damage, you would’ve likely had a shot at winning by attacking into it. He did play another creature immediately, though, so I guess you probably couldn’t have won that game no matter what.

  3. You’re really not drafting very succesfull lately, guess you have a serious dip.
    You should take acidic slime over centaur courser anytime; and pack3 pick 1 a boar ?? Instead of just taking an arsonist to fuel the goblin shooter… a misshit that got an ironic kick by that pick 2 krenko.

  4. Do not listen to knx, you should NOT take acidic slime over centaur courser anytime, actually not even the majority of the time.

  5. The lesson I took away from this – don’t pass Stuffy Doll in a draft – even if you don’t want him for your deck you certainly don’t want to play against it with most decks!

  6. hey marshall – thx for the video – nice deck, nice gaming!

    why didn’t you prey upon the servant and kill the the nighthawk with geysir in g2r2?
    i guess this would have cost you less creatures

    greetings!

  7. I cant believe you didn’t jump and scream when you got passed Sentinel Spider. That card is disgusting, and you didn’t even care. Instead you took a situational removal spell that requires a lot of support to be better than OK.

    BREAD.
    Bombs >Removal > Evasion > Aggression > Defense.

    Sentinal Spider = Bomb

  8. Love your videos and your podcasts! Wish I had something a little more constructive than just praise, would love to hear some more mentality/theory on the cast after G.Crash settles out. Also, guy raging out G1 was pretty funny ^_^

  9. Mark, that’s a cute acronym (I’ll remember it myself), I feel like your definition of a bomb is wayyyy off the mark.

    Sentinel Spider is a great, great creature, but once resolved does it just win the game, all on its own?
    No. It’s super good, but it is in absolutely no way a bomb.

  10. @somecallmetim Yes, looking back the Kitesail would have been sweet vs. that super annoying stuffy doll.

    @Martin I mean putting myself on a 3 turn clock (vs his board I might add) didn’t seem like the best play..

    @knx I don’t expect to win every draft, and I post them on here so you guys can see what it’s actually like. It’s natural for wins and losses to come streaks, that’s just variance. I have done way more than my fair share of winning lately, but apparently not as much on video. I’m not worried about it.

    Regarding Boar vs Arsonist: You are crazy. That is a horrible pick as Boar is one of the better uncommons for this deck. And Slime over Courser is closer, but still it’s Courser almost every time. I get the feeling you haven’t drafted M13 much unfortunately :(

    @kezz Yeah, I agree completely.

    @frizz Yeah he can be annoying. Generally I’m not a huge fan of the card, but it’s excellent vs RG as RG has virtually no way to remove it or go around it.

    @xeth Thanks! If I take the line you mentioned then I’m committing to the game going long, and I didn’t want to do that because my opponent had many cards in hand and I didn’t.

    @mark Um Sentinel Spider is a fine inclusion (which I mentioned) but it’s far from a bomb as you claim. Jumping out of the chair isn’t something I do often either way, it’s distracting when one is trying to draft correctly, you should try it ;)

    @courtloth Thanks for watching/listening and for commenting too :) Sometimes it can become a bit of a drag to read the comments as people just tend to point out minor (sometimes major) mistakes or make ridiculous claims that they cannot back up. Hearing “good job” is nice, so thanks :)

    @loadingreadyRUN Agreed. And thank you.

  11. You made a pretty sweet deck. Felt like luck really wasn’t on your side in round 2 but it was fun to watch nonetheless. I was sick of M13 toward the end of its run but this has be wanting to play some.
