  1. It’s funny that you say your opponent is not very good after he tried to Snapcaster Supreme Verdict at your eot (which is true but probably because he’s inexperienced) and you don’t even notice the Azorius Charm+Nephalia Drownyard which has been a thing since RTR was released.

  2. Forgetting Charm + Drown is a much slighter misstep than trying to snapcaster + verdict on your opponent’s end step……..

I enjoyed these videos much more than the previous ones. I tried this deck out last week after seeing it on your stream, but I wasn’t having much success with it. Assemble the Legion was often too slow to actually do anything and was boarded out in most matchups (since the majority of players online are playing aggro right now). I was using Faithmenders in the board instead of Trostani (because I didn’t have any), but maybe that’s where I’ve been going wrong. I was also keeping in Angels in aggro matchups because Reckoners were ruining me and I needed more answers.

I know that. However he laughs and shows disrespect at his opponent who is probably just inexperienced. xmimimix however, does nothing but play magic and should know that interaction better than anyone else. You don’t need to play magic 24/7 to know that one.

  4. Question – is there time between when the player reveals a card off of augur and he puts it into his hand (and has it available to cast)? Because if so, then flashing angel in response to him showing the Dissipate might have been the play. Not that it mattered anyway.

  5. @Tom – there is no such window, so i had to play the angel “into” the counter.

@Midguy – glad you liked the videos, I must say i was much happier with them the block one or Modern Premier.
As to the matchups I can’t say I’m affraid of agro at all with this deck. Between Mortars, huntmasters, resto and thragtusk i haven’t had any problem beating it. Main Assembly is in the the deck for “the other” matchups, it proved to be insane against esper in both matches we saw, It is also one of few outs against jund (which is quite terrible mu between removal for dorks, bonfire, olivia and rakdos’s return). You might consider it as being presided i guess. As to Reckoners I’m usualy just ignoring them plus oblivion rings work pretty fine.

As to Shooter, I don’t know who you are, or when did i step on your toe, but they say you’re not much in the Internet without a hater. There is obviously no sense to respond to your comments :)

  6. Yeah don’t respond. Keep mocking your opponents while you make your own mistakes. That’s really what you should do.

  7. So much hate.

Its good, quality content. Not that like i like standard, but those are good videos and you`re getting them for free so stop complaining.

  8. R2 the correct play was definitely taking out his pilgrim. If he has mulch or salvage in hand you let him see 4 or 5 additional cards to hit rites.
