M:tG Cribbs #27: Boros Aggro in Standard 2-Person Queues

  1. On the last game of the first round, you were at 11 life (gained one from sphinx’s revelation) and he had 10 power. You conceded even though a plains or a mountain were outs. If you drew a plains, (which was your next draw step) you could have played ajani, and gave a skyjek doublestrike to deal 9 in the air, saccing your groundpounder. Admittedly, he would have an untap, and plenty of cards, but he could have bricked.

  2. game 2 vs UW you should have sacrificed judge’s familiar to counter supreme verdict to save the soldier. You would have won the next turn instead of with all the cats.
