  1. Just started watching the deck list video. Dude seriously, I’m using headphones and the NPR voice straight into my head is, well, it’s just wrong. Please don’t whisper. :(

  2. yeah, im sick of seeing tokens dominate. I have tried other decks even with a ton of main board token hate but I still feel like I have to draw amazing to get the win.

  3. looking thru the daily results… its just amazing how many times the word ‘tokens’ shows up in the deck titles. 95% of the decks running 4-0 or 3-1 are token builds.

    there ARE a variety of different token builds, but the overall theme is still pretty stale. i saw one mono-black build that was pretty interesting, might try that just to be different.

    The blure red invis stalker won the other day too. I think that was mostly luck though because I have played the deck but you need the stalker in the first several turns to win. If you don’t pick one up you lose. I been playing black zombies with splash of green for natures grasp with 4 severs main deck and it still isnt no where close to 50/50 vs tokens.

  5. You mentioned that you wanted to try Faith’s Shield out of the board, but you never did? Probably because you didn’t need it. I wonder what the environment would look like without Intangible Virtue? The vigilance effect is what makes the tokens so strong.

  6. You said that in Game 3 he conceded early, but in fact on board you had your newly found love Liliana at 3 loyalty. So, with the -2, he was already dead on board.

  7. Good videos, as usual. I’d like to see if you can come up with some RUG or Jund build that doesn’t completely fold to tokens, but I could see that being extremely difficult.

  8. I like the content, but as a previous poster stated – please speak up. You have a quiet voice (and some weird interference noises that sounds like an old printer in the background) and when you speak you have a very even tone which doesn’t come across clearly. If you either animate your voice a bit, or just turn up the gain it will be easier to follow.

    If tokens continues to dominate as blatantly as it has, maybe do a video in the style of buidling a meta-breaker deck. A really fun pauper video I watched a while back had the poster build the deck from scratch, even documenting his choices and the evolution of the deck. Documenting some sort of mad scheme could be quite interesting for block, even if at the moment it might be pointless due to the lack of options its an interesting idea you could keep on your shelf.
