  1. tricky question. It depends on the 8th and 9th mana sources. if they are plains 7 and 8, or say the unbasic land 2 and 3. I am going to assume you just mean 7 out of 9 white mana sources out of 40 cards. so the answer for that is: 1.931 e ^ -6

  2. Good Videos, although there is a 30 second delay between the video and the audio. I would always hear what you drew a long time before I saw it. Is there any reason for that?

  3. It was a shame that in the first match (only one I’ve seen so far) the audio is so far ahead of the video. Makes it hard to watch because you are talking about topping into things and getting swords and whatnot while I am still seeing you play a turn before that, when you don’t even have any of those cards (as an example).

Loved the written decktech this time, very informative and clear-cut. It seems to me like you don’t really need the decktech video if you have such a good writeup, but I guess they are to please different crowds so the redundency is ok. People can skip it easily if they have read it, or skip the text if they want to watch.

Anyway a real shame about the video and audio being out of synch. Hopefully the other matches won’t have the same problem.

Oh and a suggestion: ‘tab’ (literally start hitting tab) when you proofcheck your article, it’ll jump to the next hyperlink every time you press tab and it’s an easy way to find if you have made a mistake with the linking. Like the one where you have a huge sentence because you forgot to close the link.

  4. I am aware of the audio problems within my videos, and am currently trying to figure out how to fix this issue. I have tried switching setting on my recorder, but most options seem to make the audio worse. I just updated to a new version so hopefully that will fix the issue if not I have a few other things I am going to try out.

@Zage: Thanks for the top when looking for hyperlinks that will help me out a ton. I find providing both written and video sources give me readers more options. Plus some enjoy to have both.

So far my count is this for the next deck.

    1 x Survival Madness
    3 x Dredge
    1 x DnT
    and -1 Dredge

  5. i would vote for the baneslayer control deck and would say -1 for dnt. death and taxes is a very simple deck in my opinion. While the survival/madness deck would be cool to tech, all the game play you want can be found on ggslive.com in the replay section.

  6. @ctrl_alt_d1337: But no games with KillerOwen’s commentary/deck tech/thought process.

Anyway I watched the rest of the vids, good stuff (though towards the very end of vids when the sync got out of control I skipped to see gamestates). The sound delay seems to be a lot less on the other videos, fortunately.
I wouldn’t know what’s causing it but I think every time you pause and resume the recording it increases a little.

And glad to hear my ‘tab tip’ can be of some help =)

  7. 5 x Survival Madness
    1 x Baneslayer Control
    3 x Dredge
    1 x DnT

This is counting votes from people who messaged me online. I’ll check back later to see the final standings of the decks. Thanks guys for making this new idea a success!

  8. LMFAO, I was cracking up every time your sister came in.

I’ll vote survival madness too cause I don’t know what it is.

  9. Hey Killer a bit late here i know, But i vote for the Spaniards Jamie Cano’s Baneslayer Control- if only because it is the hardest deck to pilot out of the bunch.
Also NH is pretty good and has even MUs with a wide array of archetypes.

  10. +1 for brad nelsons rock deck from columbus. If not madness. Love the vids just went through and watched them all. Nice foil everything lol.
