  1. Nice work, Ryan.

Are you sure you side-boarded correctly in that last match? You have the Centaur Healers specifically for aggro decks, no? Despite being a bit unconventional, that deck is an aggro deck nonetheless, and I think bringing in the Centaur Healers would have been correct.

  2. How is the junk aristocrat matchup, I know you have rest in peace in sideboard which is really good, but how does the deck usually fair against All the aristocrat decks?

  3. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I know I just made a video with a UWR deck and this is somewhat similar, but I felt it had a different enough strategy that it was worth showing how effective Bant could be in this format. I didn’t think Centaur Healers are good enough against the Black Green deck because all it does is effectively gain 6 life because it usually can’t trade with any of there creatures. I’d rather just rely on my Wrath effects instead of trying to buy time with Centaurs. And as for Aristocrat match ups, the Supreme Verdicts and the Terminuses make the match up very good for you. The only cards that matters are the Planeswalkers and Obzedat, Ghost Council. But if the are able to Renounce the Ghost Council and otherwise deal with the Walkers, they have a very hard time beating you.

  4. I feel we have a very similar taste in magic decks. I alternate between UWR and Bant Control, because they have a similar feel, but as you mentioned, Bant Control is far less skill intensive.
Having played many versions of Bant Control I do think it struggles against certain cards… Thalia, Assemble the Legion, Tamiyo, Angel of Serenity…
Nonetheless, thanks for recording and sharing, always enjoy your vids and commentary.
