  1. Fan of the look EXCEPT the owl logo, ug… – really a downgrade imo. Looks like bad clip art – and worse, it loses the regal look the old one had.

  2. if I may, liking the new design, but is it possible to get the text/color/formatting for links within articles changed? I’ve noticed that currently they show just like any other text and you don’t realize they’re links until you hover over them and the cursor changes

  3. i am a huge fan of your content, but even though i dont want to sound rude, the new design looks worse than the old one. i miss the clean tidy design of the old site.its not that i dont like changes but this one looks kind of like web 1.0 . just being honest. keep up the great articles though :D

  4. As mentioned in another video (the Ravnica 8-4 from yesterday or the day before), I cannot view videos after this upgrade. Using IE 8 (only one allowed at work) I can hear audio, but the video is just a narrow vertical white line with an “X” to close it on top.

  5. Thanks, Toxic and zupaman. Regarding the video-IE issue, we’ll look into it. Hopefully you can still watch the videos by clicking on the titles in the lightboxes to link to Youtube directly, or is the title of the video which links to Youtube also not appearing?

  6. When you watch a video using the “lightbox” plugin on our site, the title of the Youtube video appears in the Youtube lightbox. If you click it, it’ll link you to Youtube, where you can watch the video. My guess is that the title also doesn’t appear. We’ll get on this problem soon.

  7. I kind of liked the old look, but this new one seems fine too. It is just a matter to getting used to the new things, though getting used to V3 is going to be tough…

  8. The new takes some getting used to. The only real problem i have with it is that some color combinations make it almost unreadable. An example of this would be the decklist in Dime a Dozen #12. The blue letters on the dark gray background look all fuzzy. I think a lighter color letter on a dark background or a darker letter on a light background would work much better.

  9. I don’t like how I have to go to youtube to view your videos in full screen, the full screen button is no longer avliable, other then that, I like the changes. I was wondering why the decklist for all mtgo formats haven’t been updated

  10. The decklist style has recently been disrupted as the result of a fix attempting to change another problem. We’ll be dealing with it shortly.

As for viewing videos in full screen, I don’t have a problem with the lightbox feature. I use Chrome, and it works for me. Not that you should have to use that web-browser, but thanks for the help… anything like this helps us zero in on problems.

As for the decklists not being updated, what do you mean, Perkypants?

  11. There has been no decklists added since the 18th that was 5 days ago. I use Firefox,

  12. Thanks for all the feedback so far. I would like to add a few information regarding our update. Most of the changes are actually done in the backend, which will improve our capabilities to manage, edit, and style content. The glitches and bugs will be squished over time. Anyone that experienced long loading time should have a much better time now after our database improvements. We are also going to constantly improve the design and utility of the site for all our users and hope to include suggestions or ideas we collect in the comments or during talks with our users.

Thanks all for your patronage and have great holidays,

    Marin

  13. Is there a plan to install cookies to keep someone logged-in? Also, after you log-in, it takes you to the store (which is done for obvious reasons) while if you wanted to simply reply to an article/post, it requires a couple of clicks to get back to where you were.

  14. Enderfall,

Yeah this is a problem. We used to have two separate logins, one for the website (articles/videos) and one for the store. We’ve combined the two now, but for some reason, the WordPress front page login is no longer available for the time being. That won’t be the case for long, and I hope that we have the cookies set up soon, as well.

So we don’t actually want people to have to go to the store immediately upon logging in, though I understand why you would think that; it’s an artifact of a bug right now.

  15. Hi there again,
i got a minor problem to report. I’m using safari. When i use the pop up videos the header of the site is always in front.
    greetings
