  1. Simon. I haven’t left comments on these before, but I enjoy them very much. Thanks for putting yourself and these videos in the public eye. I also like that you take the time to provide an extra little discussion after each draft.

  2. Hi, sweet draft! “spoilers in text”

Good job and good played. Wondering if the right play wouldnt have been keeping rebuke up as soon as he droped grim-grim couse the only reason for him doing so is prolly couse hes gona attack with it the next turn. But hard to spot and consider while playing so yeah. Gg and nice draft, entertaining to watch.

  3. tough luck with the grim grin /demon combo. if couldn’t have run into any two cards *(and double mythic no less) that have better synergy with each other. i hope he lost in the finals against invisible stalker/butcher cleaver combo.

gotta give you credit for keeping your cool. i woudl’ve been so deflated and pissed if my opponent dropped both mythics in both games. esp since both of his wins were done solely by drawing that combo. and for him to get two mythics in the same draft, and the ability to have still build his deck around that, is pretty unfortunate for you. not that your deck was anything special… but your play more than makes up for the vanilla deck.

    better luck next time.

  4. Unrelated to draft video – Simon how did you go overall at Worlds? I saw your name in the coverage but haven’t seen the overall standings and results.

And that moonmist/scholar draft deck sounded awesome.

  5. I was on the edge of my seat hoping you would draw that Traitorous Blood. Shame it didn’t come up.

  6. I’m super impressed with how well you play and keep your cool. Well done. I also really like the extra introduction, I feel like it adds a lot to the videos in terms of instruction and teaching. I was wondering if in the second game of round two what you (or anyone) thinks about attacking with the juggernaut into the reaper and if he blocks, play the blazing torch post combat and then ping it for two to kill it. Obviously it depends on him blocking, which he may or may not have done, but it seems like a good line of play to me. Anyways, thanks for posting the videos and taking the time to do them so we can watch them for free!

  7. Nice videos as always. Tough result, as others have said. I really appreciate the level of detail you provide around why you make decisions, what other cards you consider, and the thought process around evaluating one over the other.

    Keep up the good work!
