  1. m2g1: when he played vines of vastwood he was trying to bait you into activating spellskite so that he could then play out another spell and then you wouldn’t be able to redirect it…except that he read the wording incorrectly. your spellskite only gained the ability to not be targeted by his opponent’s spells, not his spells, so his groundswell could still be redirected. the reason spellskite didn’t get +4/+4 is because he didn’t pay kicker

  2. In match 3 around the 26:00 mark, you had 6 lands, hawk, stoneforge (active), and SoWaP in play. With Jace+Stoneforge in hand amongst other things.

You should have played the stoneforge from hand, tutored SoFaF, used the stoneforge in play to cheat it in, equip it to your Hawk, swung in to untap your 6 lands, play Jace + bounce Titan and could even equip SoWaP to the hawk to force him to waste two triggers on it if he wanted to kill it or just play another hawk from your hand.

Yes you would have done LESS damage on this particular turn but it would have set you up for a much better follow-up turn.

  3. Round 4 I was tilting when you kept saying he would ultimate venser next turn while venser was at 7 counters. Killing jace when you could is by far better since it would remove his option to bounce and he was going to get venser activation whether at 9 or at 5 loyalty.

It’s hard to ignore venser, but if you played against him in block you’d see that it’s often the rest of the deck that kills you.

  4. Can you play/video Shouta Yasooka’s UB Tezz list from GP Singapore? I love the Caw videos… but Shouta’s deck looks fun and different.

  5. Loving the content. Video player is really high quality + I love the fact that games aren’t spoiled. It’s a shame more people don’t watch/comment on these

  6. Awesome videos, but seeing that you conceded to your last opponent made me a little sad :T
