  1. jesus please stop blowing in your microphone that is the worst
the vids make you look like you’re badly positioned in the metagame. everyone was set up to beat you.
I liked the third vid. definitely going to try and find your opponents decklist. looks really sweet in a silly way.

  2. pro tip- you dont have to have the mic right by your mouth- you can put it under your chin and it still works great and no mic breathing!

  3. I really like this list. I was intrigued by the inclusion of Empyrial Archangel.

    Lol @ Shreikmaw. I roffl’t

Anyway, I have been toying with the idea of Solar Flare. Hexproof has proven to be a thorn, and generally the decks that run hexproof also have access to Leak or Remand. I have taken to running more creatures that outclass the Hexproof Guys, like Baneslayer Angel. Phantasmal Image is also in my SB.

Couple of suggestions. Good vids. I also echo the “blowing into the mic” feedback, although pretty sure that is a resounding “loud and clear” at this point.

    Keep up the good work!!

  4. Really sorry about the mic! I caught what I was doing but apparently not until doing it a bit. :(

You might be right about being poorly positioned, but the deck still has room for improvement. I’ve been playing and improving it since this DE but I think I’m going to move onto something new.

@apaulogy, Archangel seemed good at the time, but Iona is better vs. Combo (which is a poor matchup) and in general. And Sphinx of the Steel Wind is better against Jund, so in the end I’m looking more towards Iona and Sphinx in the Board.

Shriekmaw is actually a pretty sweet choice with Unburial Rites, especially if you’re playing a build that runs multiple copies (as I now am).

  5. I wasn’t criticizing Shreikmaw, in fact I think it is brilliant.

Iona is a great target to shut off Storm.

Is there a reason for Sphinx of Steel Wind over, say, Progenitus?

  6. I’m playing this deck in real life and I really really enjoyed these videos and am hoping for more. I would recommend adding more sideboard for mono-red, that deck seems very popular, and timely reinforcements is good against zoo as well.

But yeah, if this was on youtube I would like, subscribe, vote up and all that so make more :)
